My grandmother Leah Slack made me a set like this. They and alot of other crocheting she had done for me was in the bottom drawer in the hall of hour brick home, they were lost in the Teton Flood.
I count 6 candles on the cake so it must be my sixth birthday. There’s the old piano that we had to chop to pieces to get out of the basement after the flood. I remember very well the Children’s song book on the piano. Songs like Jumbo Elephant, and the vegetable one. That book was out of print for many years but was re-printed just a few years ago and I bought one. It brings back a lot of memories.
