Looks like to me the Ashcraft family is visiting at the Glenn and Lalamae Ashcraft house on Main street, Family home evening? Grandpa Slack is showing what appears to be slides to the group. Can you figure out who the people are? I think I pretty much know who all of them are in this photo.
On the couch in this photo is: Grandpa V.G. Asucraft, Don, Lawrence, Lucille, Front row, Joyce holding Julia, Grandma Verna Ashcraft, Grandpa Vern Slack, Lalamae, Donnetta being held by Grandma Lucretia Slack, Reed. Notice the lamp on the left, that looks like a spinning wheel. My folks neighbors, Vera And Floyd Law gave it to us for a wedding gift. ( another of those lost in the flood items) I hated that ugly wallpaper. It was in the house when we bought the house. Notice the whatnot shelf stairs on the wall above the bookcase. Glenn madeit in a wood working class at Utah State University. Which was called the AC or Agriculture College, when we went there. The little crochet baskets hanging on the wall holding orange flowers, was made by my Grandmother Leah Slack and given to me.
This could have been Glenn’s birthday as that is when we usually got to gether. Dad, Vern Slack, loved to show his slides, and we always enjoyed seeing them
